Design Development

The Deeply Boring Company Ltd (DBC) will liaise closely with clients and their professional advisors to develop a design strategy to achieve energy efficient heating for their indoor pool.

The following information is required in order to provide a design strategy recommendation:

  1. Detail of pool building including footprint, layout, facilities and total area to be heated using geothermal.
  2. Detail of pool and spa.
  3. Existing heating fuel source.
  4. Detail of incoming electrical supply.
  5. If known, detail of existing ground conditions.
  6. Is a paddock or field available to enable horizontal geothermal pipework to be considered?
  7. Alternatively, can an area of approximately 50m/sq be made available for deep bore piling?
  8. Is there an existing source of water from which heat could be derived – steam, river or pond?
  9. Is there an onsite contractor presently undertaking ground works, alternatively, what programme is anticipated for the works?
  10. If it is an existing indoor pool, please provide details of plant/equipment including air handling and heating.

On receipt of the above information, we will provide an initial assessment regarding a geothermal installation and budget cost.

Following submission of budget costs, DBC will be pleased to discuss the scheme further in order to provide a detailed quotation.
