Installation
Subject to completion of the works outlined in DBC Quotation, The Deeply Boring Company will complete the following works:
- Provide fixed priced quotations for geothermal installation, subject to soil conditions being as geological survey report.
- Complete deep bore piling, depth to suit ground conditions – likely to be between 50m and 100m depth.
- Install flow and return pipework, including ground collectors, within boreholes including insulating grout and sleeves for boreholes if ground conditions dictate.
- Complete trench work from geothermal boreholes to plant room, supply/install high specification insulated pipework to agreed position within plant room and re-landscape site.
- Fabricate manifold pipework within plant room including flow and return pipework to heat pump.
- Supply/install appropriate size of heat pump including variable speed circulation pumps and electronic controls.
- Install full control system, to ensure priority to geothermal with occasional back-up heating provided by off-peak electric heating.
- Connect geothermal heating into clients’ air handling unit, also pool and spa water heating.
- Connect geothermal heating into pressurised cylinder for provision of hot water to shower, basins etc.
- Commission all equipment and leave fully operational.
